ESTIV_26-2 - NOCHE DE ORO
This concert takes audiences on a journey through the heart of Spanish music from the 16th and 17th centuries, a time when the Iberian Peninsula was experiencing an extraordinary cultural flourishing. The arts came together in aristocratic courts and salons, giving rise to a refined repertoire in which the voice engages in an intimate dialogue with plucked-string instruments. From love songs and popular romances to instrumental pieces, this programme reveals the full expressive richness of the Iberian tradition, where music and poetry unite to give voice to human passions. The concert will be followed by a buffet dinner. ARTISTS Sandra HURTADOS-ROS, soprano Bertrand BAYLE, vihuela and baroque guitar Suitable for ages 12 and up
ESTIV_26-3 - PUCCINI , PUB OU SERIE ?
Opera arias are far more present in today’s popular culture than one might initially think! Whether in advertisements, TV series or films, classical music naturally finds its place in these popular media and has been part of the audiovisual landscape since its very beginnings. This interactive performance invites the audience to delve into their memories, rediscover these familiar melodies and place them back within the works from which they originate. So let’s give Puccini, Mozart and Bizet the credit they deserve! The concert will be followed by a buffet dinner. ARTISTS Audrey MAIGNAN, soprano Nathalie STEINBERG, piano Suitable for ages 10 and up
ESTIV_26-4 - Va voir à Naples si j'y suis
A Musical Tale for a Tenor Alone Shaken by a deep artistic crisis, an opera singer leaves everything behind and sets off for Naples, following in the footsteps of his grandfather’s past. In search of Aurelio’s childhood, driven by his love of Italy, its music and its cuisine, he meets a very old cousin, the keeper of a family secret that will change his story forever. Between great operatic arias and popular songs, accompanied by guitar and accordion, the artist, both performer and storyteller, traces his way back to the roots of Italian music, where great art draws its vitality from the songs of the people. A journey of self-discovery, both funny and deeply moving, where the intimate meets the universal and reveals why music can be stronger than anything. The concert will be followed by a buffet dinner. Collective creation: Dorian Astor, dramaturg Patrick Abéjean, director Pierre-Emmanuel Roubet, solo performer, tenor, guitar, accordion Suitable for ages 10 and up
